Married Life

So it's been a while since we have written anything but so much and so little has happened in the last 7 wks. I can't believe it's been 7 wks! We have been having to time of our lives! Jake started school 3 wks ago and I started yesterday. We are finally all the way unpacked and I think that we both feel a lot happier to have things somewhat settled. We have been busy with things like going hiking spending time with family and just enjoying each other and married life. We will be posting pictures of our home soon. Although I haven't taken any yet. We are both working and going to school now and so things are only going to get busier! Well this is going to be a short one and I will post more soon~

WE R MARRIED!!!!

So it's official! We are now married! On July 31st 2010 we had the great blessing of having most of our family at our wedding. The Temple Ceremony was amazing, the Ring Ceremony was beautiful and fun and the Reception was everything we wanted it to be. We could not have asked for a better day. A lot of Jakes family came that he hadn't seen in many years, so that was really special to him and all Amy's siblings where there and that was her favorite wedding gift of all. Tonight we are having our open house put on by the Decker Family and we are very excited for that!

We have moved all the way into our new home and will be posting pictures soon for you all to see the finished product. Married life so far has been great and both of us are somewhat surprised how easily all the changes that being married has been. That has been a true blessing! We are posting some pictures of the wedding with more to come hopefully soon! Thank you all for your love and support!

Also we would like to send out a special thanks to the Farley, Young, and Decker families for all the hard work and sacrifice they have done and are still doing to make our wedding and marriage so wonderful! We love you all!

Home Sweet Home

Hello Jake here. Its official now Amy and I have a place to live as June 6th. Luckily we are staying in Salt Lake and close to our friends. Here are a few pictures to give you an idea. It's not much to describe but its a great place. When Amy and I were looking this place kept coming up as available. Its a nice single bed and bath with a good size living room. It was fun looking but we are both glad the hunt is over.

Well the invitations are made and ready to be sent out as soon as we get all the addresses. Things are moving very fast and we are happy that so far most things are going the way they should. Thanks to our wonderful parents that have been doing most of the work in WA things have been going wonderful! With Amy working from 7-5 Mon-Fri and Jake working weekends getting together has been a little harder than it once was but we make it work. Luckily with Amy's job as a nanny for a sweet little boy we are able to go on walks together in the

afternoons and also with out jobs we are still able to find time for dates :). This Saturday morning we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point and had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful and the day was has warm. We are on the final countdown and so excited.

Here we go.....

This is Jake and my first attempt to blogging. We are going to be using it to let everyone know how wedding plans are going, where we are registered and picture updates. After the wedding this will be our family blog. So far wedding plans are still underway and we are trying to get everything planned from two States away. Not the easiest thing to do but with the help of our parents we hope things will turn out wonderfully. We are now on the countdown and can not wait! So here we go!
